Exactly ninety years after Egypt’s most stunning archaeological finds were uncovered in the lost tomb of Tutankhamen, audiences in France will have a rare opportunity to hear Egypt’s musical treasures when the internationally-acclaimed veteran musicians & Tahrir Square revolutionaries El Tanbura embark on a national tour.
El Tanbura last performed in France in 2010 at Eurockeenes in collaboration with Hindi Zahra, and their upcoming Paris show at Institute du Monde Arab on December 1st 2012 marks their first return to the French capital in over 10 years.
